Research interests

I am generally interested in the relationships and interfaces between argumentation, pragmatics and language, specially those that touch on the following subjects:

• The role of argumentation in the production of textual meaning;
• Modes of interpretative reasoning in linguistic settings;
• Mapping and representation of linguistic evidence in argumentation;
• Cognitive bases for the argumentative dimension in text and discourse.
