2017 – 2021 PhD in Language Studies (PPgEL/UFRN, Brazil), holding a doctoral scholarship awarded by the Brazilian Ministry of Education via CAPES from March 2017 to January 2021. Researcher in the research group Textual Discourse Analysis (ATD/UFRN) and collaborator at the Laboratory of Experimental Studies in Language (LEELin/UFRN).
Doctoral dissertation: Argumentative orientation in Multilateral Environmental Agreements. Academic advisor: Prof. Dr. Maria das Graças Soares Rodrigues.
In August 2017, I followed a research internship at Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (PPGLA/UNISINOS, Brazil) partially funded by CAPES/PROCAD 2013, where I pursued activities on topics concerning frame semantics and corpus linguistics under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rove Chishman.
From April 2018 to July 2018, I followed a visiting period at Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCSH/NOVA, Portugal) partially funded by Edital 01/2017 – PPG/PROPESQ, where I pursued activities on topics concerning linguistic approaches to argumentation theory and legal reasoning under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Giovanni Damele.
From September 2018 to July 2019, I followed a visiting period at the University of Amsterdam (Faculty of Humanities, Department of Speech Communication, Argumentation Theory and Rhetorics) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Francisca Snoeck Henkemans, fully funded by the program PDSE/CAPES/2018, where I pursued activities on topics concerning argumentation theory, pragma-dialectics and interpretative justification in legal argumentation.
2015 – 2021 Teaching Degree in English Language and Literatures (UFRN, Brazil). Former student representative at the English Language and Literatures Undergraduate Program Board of Collegiates (DLLEM/UFRN/2016-2018).
2011 – 2014 Master of Laws (GSICS, Kobe University, Japan), holding a research scholarship awarded by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) from October 2011 to September 2014.
